hill station

Few years back we had to attend a marriage function at Kootar a hill station in Kerala. It was really fun as we travelled by a mini bus from Malam and were on our way to Kootar. My cousin sisters (sisters here) & cousin brothers sang Malayalam & Hindi songs too along the way. On reaching Kootar we were witness to the lovely Tea Gardens there and people working in these Tea Gardens including the women. On this day itself there was a call for a Kerala Bundh and the roads were closed with pillars, trees & logs of wood. Some of our relatives got down and removed them from the road and after our vehicle had passed they replaced the pillars, trees & logs of wood back to their original place. We had lot of fun .I was asked to watch one of my cousin sister as she was a baby by her mother. She was scared and ran down the slope and I had to follow her everywhere down the slopes, up the slopes and behind the trees. At this time the photographers were present too for the marriage function and caught me on camera and recorded all this. They made a CD out of this with the marriage function and we did have a very funny time.
