The quality of singing and a great deal of humbleness goes a great deal in becoming successful and this is what Vani Jayram has proved from time and again despite being in the danger round for three times of Asianet Idea Star Singer! Failures are indeed part and parcel of life whether they are in academics, relationships or in any other fields.
Are the youths not inspired by the performance of Vani Jayram? Who doesn’t like to be ‘one like Vani Jayram?’ Vani Jayram is a child who gives 95% in whatever she does whether it is in singing, medical field, drawing or acting and the rest 5% in whatever way she wants to enjoy her life she is free to do so!
The youths of today instead of whiling away time and playing pranks on others, they should be inspired to be “One like Vani Jayram.”, and they should work towards it!
Who would not like to be with her not for one day but forever?
Wishing her all the best for her future endeavours.

Not many audience on hand
Losing its Sheen
Is not cricket losing its sheen? There is a lot of cricket played these days ranging from the one-dayers, to the test matches, the 20-20’s and then the IPL and ICL? The IPL has been targeting Australian players to play for the IPL why so when there are other youths (youngsters) who are ready to play for the country who have done brilliantly in Domestic matches held? Learn from Australia, look at their bench strength, Chris Rogers, Adam Voges, James Hopes, Cameron White, Michael Clarke, Stuart Clark, Nathan Bracken and Stuart Macgill should be back in the place of Brad Hogg as he is one of the best spinner forever and also should be selected for the next World Cup in 2012. Do Miss him! He has still so much potential left in him as Monty Panesar of England. Has not cricket become now a different form of gambling? No wonder the Government of Karnataka has banned all forms of gambling remember the Playwin? But what about this form?
Is it not true that the BCCI is making hay while the sun shines? Fill in money in their coffers forever. It is true that bidding also takes place in soccer but this is quite different from the bidding that has taken the place of IPL.
Time to go for a test ride switch on to moto racing!

Do have a SMS on Forever
KEEP THE SMS FLOWING
According to the Oxford dictionary a ‘smile’is defined as a facial expression indicating pleasure or amusement, with lips stretched and their ends upturned while according to the Webster’s Dictionary a smile is defined as to show pleasure, amusement, affection by an upward curving of the mouth.

A Smile varies from the famous Sachin Tendulkar to Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock, Kate Hudson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Mel Gibson, Elvis Presley, Tiger Woods, Sharon Stone, Tom Cruise to Julia Roberts, Marilyn Monroe, Will Smith, and Orpah Winfrey.

Strange
As the Twenty Wonders had been selected by the leading Newspaper Times of India, a few months back how come the Red Fort which was listed on the UNESCO'S World Heritage list does not find a place in this Newspaper? Where did the ‘Mysore Palace’ which is also known as the ‘Tippu Sultan Palace go to ? Historical Places of our Paradise of India, that is Jammu & Kashmir have been skipped on like the Vaishnavdevi Temple, Hazratbal Shrine, Jamia Masjid & the Amarnath cave. Aren’t the Houseboats of Jammu & Kashmir and of Kerala a Wonder too?
Should there not be some element of surprise in it too!
Should there not be some element of surprise in it too!
noise-why?
Is it really necessary to create an unnecessary hue and cry about the Highest Civilian Award the ‘Bharat Ratna’ as there are other important issues to be dealt with and should this Highest Award be only awarded to bigwigs? Are there no other deserving candidates who excel in various fields like literacy, scientific, sports & musical & dance programs on stage?
best decision
Kudos for Mr M.P. Prakash for taking the right decision to resign from the JD (S) party. The Congress party should try their best to rein in Prakash if they need to make a comeback in KRK otherwise the BJP would have the cake and eat it too! S M Krishna, Siddharamaiah & Prakash are indeed the three musketeers for any party, therefore snatch the cake before others do so.
why deadline for clubs
The 11p.m deadline is quite embarrassing as the New Year Party begins only at 12:00 midnight and this day comes only once in a year too. Why are the authorities concerned, do they anticipate any problem in the city? The main task of the authorities is to protect the citizens.
Requesting the authorities to extent the deadline up to 1 a.m. and this needs to be strictly adhered to. Here are some suggestions to be incorporated during any New Year occasions. Place red colour telephones at the important places to contact the police department for prompt action and the blue ones for emergencies.

why night shifts
Night Shift
A girl’s duty after her marriage is to look after her child therefore the girls should not work during night shifts as to see to it that the child is not neglected and also during this time there is not much security for the girls as we have already seen in Prahibha’s case.
The child needs to be given special attention especially from the mother to guide him/her in the right direction.
The re-think of women working in night shifts by the Cabinet is surely a waste of time and money as there are other matters that needs undue attention.
“Let there be no repeat on the Prathibha’s case again.”
People need to ask themselves are they ready to take responsibilities in providing security for the girls as some of them might be their own daughters.

give way
Dark ages!
An ever lasting sight witnessed in the city of Bangalore is the traffic jams that were visible on 6th June, 07. Is this the solution for the city? This has caused a lot of inconvenience to the people.
Imagine those people going for their jobs with a deadline to be completed on a particular day and also if any of the Ambulance was on an Emergency duty.
In these modern days when we use modern technology like radio and television why are we not using these in these types of emergencies? Where has the use of loudspeakers and speakers gone to? These are only used for election purposes and also for festivals why don’t we use them too which could be fixed on top of traffic police vehicles and police vehicles which could be used to announce emergencies of similar type
Are we still living in the Dark ages…..?

Few people
It is good to see there are a lot of people who care for others by reading about Divya Dwivedi who averted an accident to save an 8 year old child. It is also often seen in the city that most vehicles try to overtake from the left putting other people into trouble while these people do escape somehow. Surveillance cameras and police on motorcycles should be posted at the busiest areas and also near the malls which have risen.
Most of the youths of today try to jump traffic signals by overspeeeding whether a traffic constable is posted there or not. These youths need to learn a lesson or two out of the leaves of Divya Dwivedi.
Instead of honouring bigwigs we should also honour people such as Divya Dwivedi by giving cash awards. There are only a few deserving people on line.

SHORT...............CUTS
SHORTCUTS
Might be familiar with this topic, hope so! In order to complete our work faster and ahead of others we do use the short cut keys, don’t we? Therefore computers have made our work easier indeed.
Strolling down the street on a calm cool day, suddenly from somewhere there is a traffic jam across the street where the vehicles are moving at a snail pace. Immediately the advantageous two wheeler do take the shortcuts through the narrow gaps in front of other vehicles. Some of them pass on through the footpaths unaware of the fact that sometime they might be caught unaware of what lies in front of them. Copying in the exam is another shortcut which some students do employ as they are afraid that they may not be able to cope with others and they are also afraid that they would receive a good scolding from their parents. Bribing officials is another shortcut employed by many to complete their work faster.
In terms of achieving love and acquiring huge money people do use shortcuts which maybe through fair or unfair means to achieve what they had hoped for. Similarly a pack of cigarettes is a shortcut to cancer. Consumption of drinks, too much of which leads to is the shortcut to death.
Do we need these shortcuts in our daily life? Is there any shortcut to happiness? Never! Money and power does it bring in happiness? Love, affection, compassion and service to mankind leads to real happiness and which stays with you for long but not money!
When a baby enters into this world, he or she has an ‘innocent’ smile on her face unaware of the hurdles which lie in front of it. But afterwards this ‘smile’ vanishes. Is it not our duty to keep them smiling forever? Look around and you will find the people living below the poverty line are a happy lot come what may! We find in them a bright lit face and a smile always on their faces.
Money does not travel a long way but a smile does travel a long way. Therefore keep smiling everyday for it does not cost you anything it is free!
