Raw Deal For Indian Citizens

It seems that the BJP has not learnt its lesson from the tie-up with the JD (S) in the state of Karnataka. Now the CPI (M) has opened its door towards the BJP. It’s really interesting to see if this tie-up would click if the BJP government is elected to power during the upcoming polls. The tie up of CPI (M) with BJP won’t click as people have already witnessed what happened in the state of Karnataka with the JD(S) tying up with BJP.Why are the Indian citizens getting a raw deal by the most of the major parties?
The BJP should tread cautiously otherwise they would find themselves swimming in troubled waters! Is the BJP interested in working for the welfare of the people or in acquiring power on hand? They should indeed support the Nuclear Deal which would indeed be beneficial for our country. Mayawati could not make much waves in the state of Karnataka and she has a long way to go before becoming the PM of India as she needs to be elected by the people but would the citizens of India vote for her? Can she deliver the goods as she had miserably failed in making a mark in the state of Karnataka?

Hello !Could You Choose One- Which Way Please-Is it Towards 'India Shining' or 'India Rising'.

13 days of governance by the BJP which was followed by the slogan ‘India Shining’ which did create doubts among the Indian citizens, ultimately the party agreeing the slogan was wrong and it should have been replaced by ‘India Rising’? In which way was India rising at that time?

India is still faced with serious unemployment crisis, most of the people are unemployed, even if some of them are employed they don’t get the pay that they deserve, let’s think of the less fortunate ones who have to depend on a single meal, nor many do have the ‘Money’ to go to schools, the country is faced with acute water shortage infact, which country does have the privilege of seeing women carrying pots of water over their heads in the cities rather than in rural areas!!, power shortage, fuel shortage for which we have to depend on other countries indeed ,the bitter relationships that exist between China & Pakistan. Poverty & Child labour been rampant still in our country. Is this ‘India Rising’?

Yes within the four walls everyone can see that India is rising but the moment a crack develops on these walls we come to face with the real India. Yes, this ‘crack’ represents ‘India’ as a ‘Whole’!

The citizens should keep their eyes wide open while electing a government and they need to raise their voices higher to be heard and they ought to give a definite time frame for this government for solving the problems faced by the country and this can be only achieved by electing a ‘Single Majority Party to Power.’
We do need a 'Party' that looks into the 'Welfare of the People' on hand.
But is there any Party that can run the Distance? Neither the BJP nor the Congress but who then? Yes it is the youths of today but would they? But would they at least try? Never, because they are really scared of failures that would strike them but aren’t failures the stepping stones to success?? The youths should remember that they are indeed ‘Blessed’ to be born into this country as the country is offering them a ‘lot of Challenges’ and it is their duty to ‘serve’ their ‘Motherland’ as we all serve all our Mothers across the Universe!!

Are they indeed ‘Brave’ enough to take the plunge into the Political Arena and lead the Country too?

Only time…………. would tell!!!

No Gurantee.!!

If the Congress party wins the trust vote, what would be the foremost duty or the primary duty of the party? Should the party continue in office or Dissolve the House & prepare for the upcoming elections? Why bother so much if the party faces a ‘defeat’ during the elections? The BJP government if elected during the elections won’t be able to last for its full term as we have already witnessed their way of functioning in the city of Bangalore & in the state of Karnataka. If the BJP is going to be elected during the upcoming Lok Sabha polls there is still no gurantee that the Party would rule for 5 years long.
Is it not high time that we have a political party that looks into the welfare of the people on hand and have the will to serve their Motherland as truely as we serve all of our Mothers around the universe, she is also indeed a Mother to us too!!

Coconut Trees Indeed a Speciality of Bangalore Now

In the recent years overgrown coconut trees have become the speciality of Bangalore city. Since these overgrown coconut trees do have coconuts on them, it’s possible that these coconuts may fall down with such a force that it may injure the passer-bys, the two-wheeler riders and other vehicle users. Though it is the monsoon season, the wind is one of the factors that shake up these trees. As some people do employ some persons to take out the coconuts from these coconut trees, this is been done without any warning! Requesting the people to erect a board/banner in red that cautions people on such type of work undertaken. The people living in the city should take the necessary precautions such as they should never walk under these overgrown coconut trees & they should not park their vehicles under these trees and never stand under these trees.
Since IPL & Cricket has taken the ‘Centrestage’, the ‘Olympics’ has been relegated to the background. It’s seen that almost 2 pages of the newspaper are dedicated only to cricket and there is not much information on the Beijing Olympics of 2008. Most people have no idea of when the Olympic Games are scheduled and which are the countries that are going to participate in the Olympics? These information can be acquired only through the Internet. We also have no idea who are the players that are representing our own country-India?
Why do we give importance only to some sports? Is it because we don’t consider other games as important as cricket? As ‘Rugby’ in the United States or known as ‘football’ there, does get a vast coverage such vast coverage need to be given to other lesser sports as this will enable the young lads & the people who are interested to come forward in representing our country-India? We do have a lot of talent in our country and We need be recognised as a ‘Sports Nation’the Worldover.Media should not concentrate on cricket but should provide coverage through the Newspapers, TV's and the Radio too as lot of people do listen to the Radio still.

Hurry Causes Worry

It’s seen that Most of the Provision Stores are taking it lightly of not putting up the Manufacturing Dates on their commodities and packages. Most of the packets which consist of ‘banana chips’, most of the ‘chips’ packets except for Lay’s, ‘kurkure’ and the ‘mixture’ packets are mostly supplied without the manufacturing dates. When people are in a great hurry to purchase some snacks for their children or for any other guests they forget or might not check on the packets for the manufacturing dates. This is to warn people. Don’t be in a great hurry and Please Do Check the Manufacturing Dates on the various commodities and packets before they are purchased. The concerned authorities need to keep their eyes open and conduct surprise checks on these stores across the country.

India Shining

If the Congress party comes to power once again during the Lok Sabha would Sonia Gandhi go in with Manmohan Singh as prime Minister or would she offer the Prime Ministership post to anyone else? If so whom would she offer it to ranging from Rahul Gandhi to Mulayam Singh Yadav, Chandrababu Naidu or to Amar Singh? Has BJP any leaders who could lead the country. We already have seen the party first during the 13 day rule later been followed by their own Slogan 'India Shining'.

Ties between Political Parties

It’s really strange that no political parties have openly discussed on the Nuclear deal on how it would benefit people. The CPI, the Congress and the BJP have kept silent on this issue. The SP too has several other plans up its sleeve, firstly to improve upon its performance in terms of the number of seats in UP as well as to launch a tirade against Madam Mayawati. In the upcoming elections the SP Party would get benefited than the Congress & the BJP. The SP is the Party to watch out for rather than the BSP.
If the Congress needs to make a mark in the upcoming elections then the Congress Party would have to make some seat adjustments between the Samajwadi Party & the JD (S) which won’t be a very easy task for the Congress Party and offer most seats to the Samajwadi Party than to the latter. The Congress Party should also extend its hand and open its doors towards the TDP- Chandrababu Naidu as there are no permanent foes in the political arena indeed as seen in the recent US elections between Hillary Clinton & Obama.

Why so ?

The Britishers had given us the game of cricket but it’s really strange that the England team never had managed to pull out a World Cup Victory till now despite been one of the best and the strongest team in the cricketing arena. Yes, the England team did have batsmen like Gharam Gooch, David Gower, Hussain,Croft,Knight,Cork, Alec Stewart ,Mullally and several others.

In recent times could we forget Monty Panersar who always gives his heart out for his country always while playing against any other team, he does have lots of talents and with time he would improve and get better & better.

The England players do really have some players like Sajid Mahmood,Graeme Swann,Stuart Board, Dimitri Mascarenhas, Tim Ambrose, Ravi Bopara, Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood, Michael Vaughan, Marcus Trescothick, Andrew Flintoff & Andrew Strauss who could really lift up the England Cricket Team and of course not forgetting Ian Bell who does need more & more exposure to International cricket. Can England create an upset during the next World Cup in 2011? Need to see England winning on the World Cup sometime in the near Future.

Why Does the Indian Team Always Fail During the Finals

“Miles to go before I sleep, before I sleep” by Robert Frost. –It’s right to begin with this line for the Indian cricket team does have miles & miles to go before achieving success.

Strange was the day of 6-7-08 as the numericals fell in the correct order as 6 was followed by 7 and 7 was followed by 8 which was also followed by a 6-wicket haul by Ajantha Mendis.

The Indian team had lost 17 finals out of the 21 matches played where India had won only 2 while the other 2 were shared. Whether it is in the World Cup Final or in any other final the Indian team makes it to the finals but when the finals are played the Indian team tend to lose out. Gary Kirsten should look into this matter of the Indian cricket team frequently losing out in the finals and also keep all the players on equal par when SreeSanth & Harbhajan Singh returns as he will need to keep a check on these players within the conduct code for cricket and not to transgress beyond this which won’t be an easy task for the Indian Cricket Coach. Jaysuriya had proved that age is not a factor to count on for any cricketer. Every cricketer knows how long he could carry on as a cricketer.Age is No criteria for selection

The pitch in Karachi did have something in it for the bowlers and the Sri Lankan cricket team did get the advantage in the latter half and here the Indian cricket team had dearly missed the services of Harbhajan Singh. It was great to see such a lovely match on hand where both teams did have equal chances of winning.

Last but not the least the Australian players do follow a Rotation Policy and the Indian team should also have one on hand as this will give the players the rest they require and would give them the time to heal from the injuries that might have occurred during the matches played.

“Rotation Policy- Is No Joke For Certain”

Pakistan, Sri Lanka & South Africa are the strongest contenders for the 2011 World Cup while New Zealand & West Indies would be the Dark Horses to look out for where West Indies might be able to pull through as they do have the ability to “Win from Nowhere.”

Stretchiing out the Hands

What would be the SP’s (Samajwadi Party's) demand if the party decides to join hands with the Congress? Would it be only Cabinet berths or more?

Third Front-A Necessity

Do we need a Third Front currently as there are many serious issues that need to be discussed as there is a need to find some solutions to these issues? The Third Front could comprise of the experienced and the youths!!

Never Be Dictated By Others

Should we not follow our country's own 'Foreign Policy' rather than be dictated by other countries? Could you suggest some ideas on improving the Foreign Policy of our country?

Let's Know

There are many people who do suffer from 'Cancer'.McGrath's wife was affected with Cancer. I would like to have more information in this area as there are different types of 'Cancer' that do prevail & how could we do help such people who are suffering from Cancer?

Lost Out

Divya of House No.12 who lives in Thippasandra & near LIC Colony of Jeevan Bima Nagar had come across to me in the year 1998 as during this time she had been teasing about four other boys. As soon as she saw me she did infact turn her face away from me!! She came across me again in the year 2006 forgetting the fact that we had met each other during the year 1998. Divya has been a well known dancer throughout these areas thus speaks a lot of her intelligence. She is a lovely pretty girl, with a lovely soft spoken voice and quite well mannered. It was not her intelligence that mattered to me the most, nor the way she spoke, neither the way she did dress nor her beauty but it was her lovely conduct that really stunned me. As she had been busy most of the time as a dancer, Divya did find out some time for me which I do appreciate. Ultimately I had lost and she had won as she had won over me forever!!!

BTM Layout In Bangalore

Been travelling to various localities such as M.G.Road, Brigade Road, St. John's Road & Koramangala in Bangalore it was found that many cab drivers & auto rickshaw walls fall asleep while driving as due to the long hours & the long distance on hand. Since there are many roads been made into one-ways these could be made better by opening refreshment centres & medical camps on these roads. These would help the drivers & auto rickshaw wallas a lot. This will also employ the youth & would also save the girls from been eve-teased as they would be too preoccupied in serving their city & their country together!!!

Sleeping On Way

Coaching Camp

Been selected as a sports player for most of the sports. This was while I was studying in 6th Std. in St.Francis’College (with School) combined in Lucknow. We were divided into 4 Houses-St.Andrews, St. Patrick’s, St.George & St Francis’ House. I had to represent the St.Francis’ House. I will never forget the services of my Physical trainer PT Master Sir Parker who imparted a lot of his knowledge to make me into a sports person. Been transferred to Bangalore I had to miss his services on hand.

As we settled in Bangalore I had to attend cricket coaching camp organised by the school in which I was studying. We had to report in the sports field by 7:30 am latest by 7:40 am. Never later than this. We were then asked to run 6 rounds around this field and then this was followed by stretching exercises. Then we were imparted batting skills, fielding skills, bowling skills & wicket keeping skills. We were taught how to grip the bat as lightly as possible for stroking the ball. In the fielding department we had to run towards the ball thrown by the coach, collect it and throw at the stumps in one go!! No balls and wide balls were the main focus in the bowling department. As I do have long hands I was also imparted wicket-keeping skills. Not like the other wicket keepers of today I used to stand up and keep rather than sit and I was advised by the coach to collect the ball in my hands as it passed by the wickets and keep my legs together rather than apart while collecting the ball so that the ball does not pass through the legs. Our training used to finish by 9:30 am by which we had to report for our daily classes.

Hockey the Game

A visit to St. Joseph’s Indian High School at Museum Road I had witnessed hockey training organised here. I was really stunned by the immense talents the boys of this school had displayed & by the coaches imparting various skills of hockey to these young lads. I had really learnt a lot about Hockey only now. The scoop, how to aim at the goal from different angles and how to pass the ball while nearing the goal. The coaches’ advice to the goalkeepers was not to fall while saving a goal as this may prove to be an advantage for the opposing team. The goalkeepers were too good at their tasks. My best wishes for them and also for their future endeavours. We as spectators/audiences think it is very easy to play Hockey but today I did learn that been a hockey player is not an easy task at all. We do have lots of talents and we must give these young lads a lot of opportunities so that they could prove themselves in the years to come. There are some youths who believe in hard work and in serving the nation but there are other intelligent youths who believe mainly in accumulating more and more ‘ Money’ on hand and also believe in whiling away their time by indulging in a lot of mischievous deeds.

Where is Cricket Heading

Do you support the Banning of Zimbabwe by the ICC from International Cricket ? What is ICC going to achieve by banning Zimbabwe ? It will lose a huge amount of sponsorship and this would also create a social bloc with India,Pakistan Sri Lanka, Bangladesh & West Indies following suit and walking hand in hand while the other bloc would comprise of Australia,England,South Africa & New Zealand!!! Does the ICC want to organise two World Cups for these separate blocs?

Friends Forever

Friends are those who don’t cheat you but would always try to lend a helping hand and often support you through out all the odds that face you. Divya, the well known dancer around Thippasandra & Jeevan Bima Nagar, LIC Colony was known to me from the year 1998 through Ankushi & Mithaksi whose parents were transferred to Delhi. Ankushi & Mithakshi had undergone Dance training from Divya. They had also lent me a lot of support and did have a lot fun together. Now they must have grown up and I am really indebted to them for whatever they could do for me and for what I am today!

Ragging Was Fun

The first day as we entered into the Ist yr.degree of the College we were asked by our seniors to be prepared to be ragged. We were too scared about ragging but ultimately this turned out to be fun. They asked our names, asked some of the females to sing a song from a movie/film and I too was ragged as I had to talk to all the senior girls of the College and if I did not do so, I would have been teased by the seniors!!! I had to pick up some conversation with most of the girls of the College like their names, from where they come from, would you like to have a cup of tea with me, or shall we go to the canteen for a cup of tea or coffee? Most often the girls used to join me too either for a tea or coffee or just to pick up a conversation with me under the tall trees which grew in the College. Yes it was a mild form of ragging but we did enjoy it. It gave us a new outlook towards the world of today!

As we too entered the IIIrd yr. as seniors we also used to rag most of the students both boys & girls together. We used to ask the same things what our seniors had asked us before and told the freshers to do the same! We asked them which branch they had taken and we too requested them to join us at the hotels and restaurants, for which most of the girls agreed!

Park-improvement

What can we do for improving the plight of pedestrians crossing the busy roads? Are skywalks an answer and are these skywalks safe enough? Any other suggestions on the marking of the zebra crossing for making them more visible on hand?

Who will fare better

What would be the SP’s (Samajwadi Party's) demand if the party decides to join hands with the Congress if the CPI (M) pulls out? Would it be only Cabinet berths?
